Long term review is as follows I have been using this laptop for more than a year now I made a change in the laptop that I upgraded its hardisk from a 1 tb HDD to a 128gb SSD the SSD under the hood now is a gigabyte one I went for the minimum storage for less price as the price difference between the 256gb and the 128gb is a lot and trust me changing the hardisk make a huge difference now my laptop file transfer rate is as fast as light it opens up much quick also it affects the battery life hugely now the laptop manages up to 7 to 8 hrs in balanced mode and if I extent the performance and do the settings to maximum the battery gives me around 5 to 6hrs on screen time which is way better than before. Also, I would like to mention before this laptop I was using a Lenovo ThinkPad t450 which was practically a masterpiece but still it lagged behind in certain aspects it had great battery life awesome display but was windows 7 and no backlit keyboard no dedicated graphics card not even 8gb ram which is mandatory for a laptop of that category. That’s why I decided to upgrade it definitely lagged in multitasking and now Lenovo yoga can handle multitasking as its bread and butter for it also I must say that people or tech savvies consider ThinkPad keyboards as the best but for me it’s not the same I prefer a chicklet type keyboard over the ThinkPad trademark keyboard although this is my personal preference I can edit 1080p videos very easily on my yoga but I have never done a 4k video render. Now let’s talk about the ports on my yoga I have 1 Ethernet, 1 full size HDMI, 3 USB 3.0 ports, 1 3.5 mm headphone jack a SD card a thunderbolt port and a charging adapter. Also, to mention the laptop has fast charging option and we do get a fast charger inside the box the inbuilt speakers are of Harman it has backlit keyboard. Overall, it’s a perfect combo for the price it is offered in. I must say as a yoga It is a bit heavy. Until now I am only talking about the laptop but to mention yoga is a convertible with a 360 degree hinge so let’s talk about the tablet now the windows tablet mode is good but not extraordinary I wish it also had android so as soon as I flip it android boots up but for now we only have windows, although the performance still is good and games that are inbuilt in the Microsoft store which do include touch response like the asphalt 9, world cricket championship 2 are playable and is very much fun also the functionality that yoga offers cannot be offered by any two in one in the price segment. Also, I have seen people complaining or telling us that the yoga has a bad endurable hinge but, in my case, I do not think so they are very durable and in my so long usage it didn’t seem to be cheap or endurable in fact the seems to be premium and much durable.
